We are excited to announce the launch of our ISPN mentorship program with esteemed Pediatric Neurosurgeons under the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Mentorship Committee. This program is open to ISPN student & candidate members. It is the ultimate opportunity to be guided by renowned neurosurgeons as you pursue a career in the field of pediatric neurosurgery.
Who can become a Mentee?
Every trainee who is passionate about pursuing a career in pediatric neurosurgery and all early-career pediatric neurosurgeons can apply for the program. Your mentor will share his/her experience in clinical practice, research, or academia. ISPN is committed to develop the skills and careers of the next generation of pediatric neurosurgeons.
Join the program as a Mentee if:

- You are an early career pediatric neurosurgeon (< 5 years in career), or
- You are a neurosurgery trainee/resident considering pediatric neurosurgery as a career, or
- You are a medical student considering neurosurgery/pediatric neurosurgery as a career.
Mentees should be willing:
- To actively participate in mentoring activities and maintain open communication with their mentors.
- To report on their progress yearly to the Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Mentorship Committee. Reports should be sent by e-mail at the end of each calendar year; referral e-mail address: ispnmentorship@gmail.com.
