The ISPN visiting fellowship programme is now open for applications!
To be eligible for this fellowship, you need to be an active ISPN member, be professionally involved in pediatric neurosurgery, under 35 at the time of the fellowship, come from or go to a low or lower-middle income country, and not have received any previous ISPN support.
There are two categories of visiting fellowships to apply for:
- Visiting fellowship in an international unit – supports a trainee from a low or lower-middle income country (per World Bank classification) to spend a period of time in an internationally recognized unit to acquire unique experience/surgical technique.
- Visiting fellowship in a developing country’s unit – supports a trainee from a developed country to spend a period of time in a developing country’s unit to gain knowledge about pediatric neurosurgery conditions not usually seen in developed countries.
The deadline to apply for a visiting fellowship is 1 September 2024.
