ISPN Webinar – ISPN Pediatric Neurosurgery Case Conference: Pearls and Traps

After a first successful session in August, we are running a second ISPN Pediatric Neurosurgery Case Conference: Pearls and Traps on Friday 12 September 2025 from 17:00-19:00 CEST.
This webinar will feature a concise presentation of pediatric neurosurgery cases to a diverse (geographically and seniority) group of ISPN faculty in a format like “morning report”. Faculty will share thoughts on diagnosis and optimal surgical approach as well as pearls and traps that can lead to complications. Audience questions will be fielded. Objective will be to present/discuss each case for about 10 minutes.
We invite Junior doctors to submit de-identified cases for consideration!
Case may be submitted in the following format:
- A 5 slide per case maximum power point.
- First slide provides background clinical history and presenting symptoms.
- Second slide and third slide may present imaging (CT, MRI, angiogram etc.).
- Fourth slide presents differential diagnosis and operative options considered
- The final (5th slide) states the operation/approach chosen, acute surgical result and best available follow up.
