The 46th Annual Meeting of the ISPN, ISPN 2018, was held from 7-11 October 2018 in the sunny city of Tel Aviv, Israel. Over 650 participants from all over the world joined to attend this year’s meeting with a jam packed programme that even needed to accommodate 3 parallel sessions on one of the congress days to allow for presentation of all submitted abstracts.
The participants could select their preferred sessions from 2 Pre-Conference Courses, 1 Lunch Symposium, 15 Plenary Sessions, 3 parallel sessions, 3 round table discussions (Women in Neurosurgery – Global Neurosurgery – Chiari Malformation), 2 poster sessions, 3 Early Riser Sessions/ Masterclasses: Molecular oncology, Neuroembryology & Movement Disorders.
Thanks to the great efforts of Shlomi Constantini, Annual Meeting Chair 2018, 80 additional scholarship were made available to attract and support new and young participants to attend the meeting. These scholarships were made available besides the 10 regular ISPN Meeting Attendance Awards, that are given out each year.
During this meeting the ISPN Presidency was handed over from Graham Fieggen, South Africa, to Wolfgang Wagner, Germany. Read the Presidential Message from our new President here >
